Going to Hong Kong

Hong Kong can be reached very easily from any place in the world. The Hong Kong International Airport is a major hub in Asia, with direct flights to many cities in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. There is a highly efficient subway system connecting the airport and downtown, bringing our arriving guests to Kowloon and Central in less than 30 minutes. Airbus carries passengers to a large variety of places within the city in about an hour, inclusive of the conference venue.

Besides the most straightforward way of flying in, the High Speed Rail Hong Kong offers high speed train services to major cities in China, providing a lower cost and yet efficient travel alternative.

Visitors staying in southern part of China may also travel directly to the Hung Hum station by train. The station is located right next to the university and within walking distance to the conference hotel.

For more information, please refer to the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Visa to Hong Kong

For citizens of a majority of countries in the world, no visa is required for visiting Hong Kong, as long as the length of the stay does not exceed the specified period (from 7 to 90 days). Please refer to the HKSAR visa requirements (under item 12) at the Hong Kong Government web site to confirm whether you need a visa, and the length of stay without a visa.

If you need a letter for visa application, please email to Dr Siuly.
